This agreement governs access to the RevTrends website and application, operated by Richard Tripp ("RevTrends," "we," or "us"). Please read it before using the service. By accepting this agreement where prompted, or using the service after having an opportunity to review it, you agree to these terms. If you use RevTrends for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept this agreement for that organization.

1. License and beta service
We grant you a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to access RevTrends for your organization's internal business analysis while your account is authorized and you comply with this agreement. RevTrends is a beta service. Features, availability, storage arrangements, and report methods may change. We may suspend access for maintenance, security, misuse, or discontinuation of the beta.
2. Your accounts and permissions
Provide accurate account information, safeguard your sign-in credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized use to support@revtrends.com. You are responsible for the users you authorize in your workspace. Connect an accounting or CRM system only when you have permission to share its data and to use it for the intended analysis.
3. Your data and our use of it
You retain your rights in the data you provide or authorize us to access. You permit us and our service providers to retrieve, store, process, and display that data as needed to operate RevTrends, prepare your reports, provide support, and protect the service. During the beta, an authorized analyst may prepare reports using local development copies of your data. Our privacy policy describes this processing and your choices. RevTrends retains its rights in the software, branding, and report methods; this agreement does not transfer ownership of them.
4. Reports and third-party services
Reports depend on your source data, connection permissions, selected dates, mappings, and available features. Review report outputs against your accounting records before relying on them. RevTrends does not provide accounting, tax, legal, or investment advice, and does not guarantee revenue, profitability, or any business outcome. Third-party services, including Intuit QuickBooks Online, apply their own terms and may change or interrupt access. RevTrends uses accounting data for analysis; it does not use the QuickBooks Payments API to charge customers or collect card details.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the service unlawfully, connect data without authorization, bypass access controls, introduce malicious code, interfere with other users, or attempt to extract another customer's information. Do not reverse engineer or redistribute the service except where applicable law permits. Notify us of security concerns privately so that we can investigate.
6. Fees
Any paid plan must be separately offered with its price and billing terms. This agreement alone does not authorize a charge or enroll you in a paid subscription.
7. Disconnecting and ending access
You can revoke a QuickBooks connection through your QuickBooks connected-app settings. See disconnect instructions. Revoking a connection stops future authorized access but does not automatically erase data already imported. Request account closure or deletion at legal@revtrends.com. We may verify your authority before acting. We may end or suspend access for violations of these terms or to protect the service. Export information you need before ending access where export features are available.
8. Disclaimers and responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, the beta service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from this agreement. Nothing in this agreement excludes liability or rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
9. Changes and contact
We may revise this agreement as the service develops. We will update the effective date and provide notice of material changes through the service or an available account contact.
